Since May of 1999, L & L Printing of Coopersville have offered their quality printing products and services to the surrounding community and beyond. In October of 2005, L & L opened its storefront at 217 W. Randall Street to provide more room for equipment and a formal business environment. Managed and owned by Coopersville High School graduates, Jeff and Norma Luke have always lived in the area, but have lived in the City of Coopersville for 33 years. Jeff has over 25 years of experience in the printing industry while Norma manages the day-to-day operations. "No job is too big or too small for L & L," says Norma Luke.
Jeff and Norma have two sons, Kevin and Brian, who have both helped out with the family business. Kevin focuses on technology. He makes sure the computers, printers, and software are up to date and working properly. Brian is the official greeter. Everyone loves to come in and visit with him while their printing needs are being met. Brian is a huge country music fan, especially of Julianne Hough, who took time out to pose with him at the Muskegon Summer Celebration in 2008.
We have recently expanded our services! We have purchased an additional building where we keep all our latex, wide-format equipment. This equipment allows us to make outdoor signs. We have the latex printer, plotter (for cutting out to shape), and wide-format laminator (to make sure those outdoor vehicle decals last longer in the sun). Advertising outside, on your windows and vehicle, are now a must for most companies. We are excited to now offer that service here, locally, enabling our customers to use us as their one stop shop for ALL their printing needs!
We have been a member of the Coopersville Area Chamber of Commerce since 2001 and were presented as 2017 Service Provider of the Year. In addition to this, we are involved with improving the community by supporting:
Coopersville Area Youth Soccer Organization
Seaville Kids Triathalon
Miss Coopersville Pagent
Therapeutic Horsemanship of West Michigan
Del Shannon Car Show
We could not exist, much less thrive, without our dedicated and customer oriented team members:
Norma Luke has managed the day-to-day operations of L & L from its beginning in May of 1999. When asked what she likes about L & L, she "likes the small-town atmosphere of the business and chatting with customers she has known her whole life." While away from L & L, Norma enjoys catching up with family and traveling.
Cathy Hoolsema has been a valued team member at L & L since October 2011. She likes the opportunity of using her creativity when designing products for customers and the family friendly environment L & L provides. Cathy is involved with the community by volunteering at CAPS, playing handbells at church, and teaching Sunday school. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Ashley Whelpley has been a valued team member at L & L since May 2016. She graduated from GRCC with an Associate’s Degree in Art. Since High School, she's wanted to pursue a career in the Graphic Design field and working here allows her to do just that. Ashley loves that every day she gets to be creative with layup and enjoys the variety of work. She enjoys the fantastic work environment and interacting with the customers. When not working, she likes to hang out with friends.
